The gypsy neighborhood and the flamenco caves

For so many years it was the hiding place for the gypsy people, especially during Franco’s dictatorship, it is really a place where people could live excluded from the city but never away from judgment. The Flamenco was born exactly here, inside of its characteristic Caves, the artistic expression of the social outcast. The historical relevance can only be matched with its beauty, the irregular terrains and the views it provides. The secrets of Sacromonte are yet to be discovered, but the enchantment of the place is already worldwide famous.
